The Process
Here is a glimpse into the intricate work that goes into each mosaic.
Each frame starts with a 10' section of mild steel. It is then cut down to create square frames, or hand bent to create circles. The pieces are welded together, ground and sprayed.
The mosaic work starts with 12"x12" sheets of colored glass to various smaller shapes and sizes. Each piece of glass is then placed and glued within the frame. When the glass work is complete, it is grouted. Finally, a clear epoxy seals the finished piece.
